Agrow Allied Venture starts production of new technical products i.e. Tembotrione, Halosulfuron Methyl and Pyraclostrobin

Agrow Allied Venture announced that the Company has started manufacturing of three new technical products viz.,

1. Tembotrione: This product is a selective, post-emergence herbicide developed for the control of a broad spectrum of broadleaf and grassy weeds in corn, maize. It remains effective for a longer period for killing all newly germinated weeds. Tembotrione shows a fast efficacy in the control of weeds. It dissipates rapidly in the environment without causing any crop phytotoxicity. It has a low rate of application and poses almost nil environmental risks. A product with a high level of crop tolerance Tembotrione assures higher grain yield and profitability. The product combines rapid action with a user-friendly formulation and good rain-fastness to offer farmers a number of major advantages over conventional products.

   
   

2. Halosulfuron Methyl: Halosulfuron Methyl belongs to the sulfonylurea group of herbicides commonly known as an inhibitor of acetolactate synthase. It is a Group B herbicide that is absorbed through roots, shoots and foliage with the active ingredient being translocated through the plant to the nutgrass ‘nut’ (tuber) below the soil surface. It controls selective pre-emergent and post-emergent weeds including both broadleaf weeds and sedges in a range of crops. It shows efficacy at low dosage and is safe for crops with strong residual action. It offers extended weed control, creating a weed-free environment that persists over an extended period, thereby significantly benefiting farmers.

   
   

3. Pyraclostrobin: This product is a broad spectrum, systemic fungicide that belongs to the QOI group which inhibits cellular respiration in the mitochondria of the fungal cell and the target fungus dies. It is an innovative fungicide with specialised formulation for excellent fungicidal activity on rice blast along with plant health benefits. The product has protective, curative, eradicative, translaminar, and loco systemic properties. It also offers excellent control of fungal diseases in wheat, vine, grapes, berries, potato, soyabean etc crops. 

The Company aims to register and sell these products in India and global markets.

The Company has also started the construction of its new technical plant with an investment of approx. Rs. 150 Cr.

Year 2023 was a strong year for the Company as the Company introduced other technical products i.e. Chlorantraniliprole Technical (″CTPR″) and Dinotefuron. The new products are a result of Company’s committed investment in Research and Development. The Company is focused on investing in new DE patented products. All these new products will help the Company in maintaining the growth and healthy bottom line.
