Agrocerrado advances with store expansion, opens first store in Goiás, Brazil

Agrocerrado store chain opened its physical unit in the state of Goiás, in the municipality of Cristalina. The sales point, located at Rua Magnólias, Quadra 08, Lote 27, Parque Brasil, is part of Syngenta's commercial platform, Synap (Syngenta Agriculture Platform). The new feature allows the agricultural input distributor to contribute to local production, offering its entire portfolio of products and services.

According to Marcos Basso, director of the new unit, this movement ensures farmers more significant access to Syngenta's technologies and services in an essential region of national agriculture.

"We are very happy with this new step by Agrocerrado, which will allow us to be closer to farmers, now with a location that allows us to offer better services and proximity to customers in the Cristalina region. This region is responsible for a strong and diversified agriculture emphasizing soybeans, corn, wheat, beans, potatoes, onions, and other crops. Producers seek high investments and are well professionalized so that we can offer assistance and quality services through Agrocerrado," Basso highlighted.

The unit has 1,200 meters, with 150 m² of office space and 1,050 m² dedicated to a warehouse for stocking products such as seeds, fertilizers, high-performance fertilizers, pesticides, leaf nutrition, and biologicals. The space also offers innovative digital solutions and face-to-face service with technical consultants trained to provide all the agronomic recommendations necessary for crops. Furthermore, the new physical store has guidance on services such as credit, barter, regional management, and other support areas.

This growth reflects Agrocerrado's commitment to providing exceptional service to local rural producers, offering innovative products, technological services, and quality assistance.

"We have the most complete and robust range of products to serve all crops, with solutions from planting to harvesting. This expansion highlights the relevance of this state for Syngenta, which, through Agrocerrado, can meet all the needs of farmers, regardless of the size and types of crops," highlighted Thiago Mendes, regional manager of Agrocerrado in Goiás.
