Green Growth: Willowood's Stewardship Program

Willowood, in its stride towards a sustainable agriculture, has initiated a stewardship programme emphasising on the nuanced yet pivotal role of chemical usage in safeguarding the crops. On the eve of foundation day (12th December), Willowood celebrated ″Stewardship Day″ to signify prudent usage of agrochemicals. To mark its significance, Willowites conducted 230 on ground farmer training programmes, engaging more than 10,000 farmers staggered across 230 districts in 25 states of India. The training programmes highlighted the safe, judicious, and responsible usage of agrochemicals, circumventing detrimental effects on environment and surroundings. 

At its core, Willowood's initiative revolves around the careful and thoughtful use of resources. Encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices, where agrochemicals can be harnessed for its intended benefits with minimal impact on the surroundings. By championing responsible usage, we aim to cultivate a culture of conscientious farming, fostering a harmonious relationship in the agri-ecosystem. Willowood aims to nurture the next generation of agricultural leaders, guiding them to embrace emerging technologies while staying tuned to greener and sustainable farming practices.
