SCL Group appoints Sun Jin as Regional Managing Director of East Asia and North Asia

With the approval of the Board of Directors, Paolo Bonini, Chairman of SCL Group, has appointed Sun Jin as the group’s Regional Managing Director of East Asia and North Asia, effective from December 1, 2023.

Sun Jin, who has a Master’s degree in agricultural, joined SCL Group in early 2016 and served as its China Agricultural Project Development Manager, China Sales Manager, Chief Business Representative in China, Country Manager of China, and China Branch General Manager and CEO.

Over the past eight years, the group’s business in China has grown rapidly under Sun Jin’s leadership, growing 10 times by the end of 2023. In terms of brand building and team building, the group has made a major breakthrough in its brand image development in China, where SCL’s growing brand and business volume are well recognized by the industry.

In view of Sun Jin’s achievements and in account of his own opinions, the Board of Directors of SCL Group made the appointment while considering the real business conditions in the East Asian and North Asian markets. Through the appointment, Sun Jin can repeat and teach his successful experiences in the Chinese market to the group’s East Asian and North Asian operations, to better develop and manage the latter markets. At the same time, to maintain the group’s business operations stability in China, Sun Jin was also asked to stay in the top management position of the group’s China branch.
