Statement Concerning the Patent Protection of 2,4-D Dimethylamine Salt SG Product by Rainbow Agro

Rainbow Agro recently issued a statement on the patent protection of its 2,4-D dimethylamine salt SG product. The full text of the statement is as follows:

Shandong Weifang Rainbow Chemical Co., Ltd. (″Rainbow Agro″ for short) has been fully engaged in crop protection globally for over two decades and is consistently dedicated to the research and development of pioneering technologies and the protection of intellectual properties.

We recently discovered that some companies or individuals are quoting prices for and selling 2,4-D dimethylamine salt SG product in countries such as China and Thailand without Rainbow’s authorization. In response to this, Rainbow solemnly declares the following:

1. Rainbow holds the exclusive patent (Patent Title: 2,4-D Saline-soluble Granule and Preparation Method Therefor; Patent Publication Number: CN102578091B) for 2,4-D dimethylamine salt SG product in China and has applied for or obtained patent authorization in Thailand, Malaysia, South Africa, Nigeria, India, Ghana, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Ukraine, Colombia, New Zealand, the United States, and Argentina. Any commercial activities, such as the manufacturing, use, promised sale, true sale, exportation, or importation of the 2,4-D dimethylamine salt SG product in the countries mentioned above by any company or individual without Rainbow’s permission constitute an infringement of Rainbow’s patent rights. 

   
   

2. Rainbow’s 2,4-D dimethylamine salt SG product, which has been diligently developed and market-validated over many years, features many advantages, including high efficiency, safety, convenience of use, cost competitiveness, and environmental friendliness. It is widely acclaimed by customers both domestically and internationally. We urge our valued customers to purchase it from legal and regular channels to avoid unnecessary losses and risks.

In the face of any infringement of the company’s patent rights, Rainbow will continue to conduct market infringement monitoring and undertake all necessary legal efforts to safeguard our legitimate rights and interests.
