Repont Agrochemical: Contributing to bountiful harvests with high-end sulfonylurea herbicides

Established in 2000, Jiangsu Repont Agrochemical Co., Ltd. is a Chinese company specializing in the production of sulfonylurea herbicides. Headquartered in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, the company boasts a registered capital of RMB129.8 million and a workforce of 800 employees, including 30% dedicated to R&D and technical roles.

Repont Agrochemical operates two production sites: one in Rudong County of Jiangsu Province, spanning 200 mu with a built-up area of 56,000 square meters, and the other in Gansu Province, under the name Gansu Kombass Biotechnology Co., Ltd, covering 475 mu with a current built-up area of 70,000 square meters. Both sites boast comprehensive production lines for intermediates, active ingredient synthesis, formulations, and packaging, all accredited with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 certifications. 

With over two decades of dedicated efforts, Repont Agrochemical has established a strong competitive presence and brand recognition in the international market by virtue of its high-quality products and professional services. The company has earned the title of one of China’s Top 100 agrochemical companies with sales for several consecutive years, and achieved the 67th position on the list in 2022.

Two production sites guarantee the product supply

Rudong site: Jiangsu Repont Agrochemical Co., Ltd.

Lanzhou site: Gansu Kombass Biotechnology Co., Ltd

Gansu Kombass Biotechnology Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by Jiangsu Repont Agrochemical Co., Ltd. It is located in the Qinchuan Fine Chemical Industrial Park in the Lanzhou New Area, Gansu Province. Covering an area of 475 mu, Kombass has a total investment of RMB1.5 billion and a current built-up area of 70,000 square meters. Kombass produces 12 active ingredients and 17 intermediates, totaling 29 products, with the main products as outlined in the chart below:
