A few days ago, two invention patents of Flagchem and its subsidiary Anhui Ningyitai Science and Technology Co., Ltd are authorized by China National Intellectual Property Administration.
One of the inventions relates to a fungicide, which is a disclosure of the derivative of Diclazuril and its applications as well as a fungicide used for resistant plant diseases. This method has the features of easy availability of raw material and a rational process. The derivative of Diclazuril and the fungicide against plant diseases are of high purity, superior quality and fit for mass production. The compound under the invention patent is effective for control of plant diseases such as cucumber downy mildew and corn rust.
Diclazuril is an anticoccidial drug reported by the Belgian Janssen in 1986, with the structure of triazin phenylacetonitrile, being used for control of poultry coccidiosis like chicken coccidiosis. It has the advantages of high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity, low resistance and small dosage.
The second invention relates to synthesis of a pesticidal intermediate, specifically a method of synthesis of carbamate derived from the poly-substituted arylamine, which is the key intermediate of saflufenacil. This synthesis method can avoid the use of expensive raw materials, being economical and environment friendly, with a high product yield. It is of good selectivity, which effectively controls generation of chlorinated isomers, improves product purity, reduces cost and makes for industrialized production of saflufenacil.
Saflufenacil is a PPO inhibitor and a novel uracil-based stem leaf treating agent, which BASF used call the most successful new herbicide in 20 years. Firstly, it can be used in various production systems and uncultivated land, with wide crop applications and broad herbicidal spectrum, including applications to weeds that are resistant to triazine, glyphosate and ALS inhibitor. Meanwhile, saflufenacil has a variety of distinctive features, such as its fast-acting and long-lasting properties.
