By acquiring Nebraska Irrigated Seeds, Agrality strengthens its position and growth within the country, delivering tailor-made solutions to the global seed industry.
Agrality, a fast-growing global company specializing in seed industry solutions, announces its recent acquisition of Nebraska Irrigated Seeds, located in Fremont, Nebraska.
This investment includes four key sites which integrate an office, two ear-corn receiving, drying, and shelling facilities, along with a multi-crop processing and conditioning site. This strategic move significantly increases Agrality's warehousing and logistics capacity, offering a substantial 400,000 sq ft, or the equivalent of 2,000,000 bags.
Additionally, the acquisition grants access to essential field machinery and operational capacity, covering 6,000 acres for seed corn and 16,000 acres for soybeans. This expansion complements Agrality's current geographical presence and extends its reach into the coveted Midwest corn-belt and surrounding regions.
The partnership between both companies aims to play a central role in the American and global industry by providing their customers with secure, effective, integral, and sustainable agricultural solutions.
"Since 1935, we have embraced an immense amount of pride in producing high quality seeds and dependable services for the seed industry in the production sector. With the highest level of professionalism in delighting all clients, NIS employees are second to none in the industry, some of which are second and even third generation employees. Today, we have taken a big step forward to be the strategic partner that aligns with our clients' expectations. By teaming up with this global corporation, we now have the opportunity to expand our services within the US domestic market and beyond," highlighted Adam Monke, President of Nebraska Irrigated Seeds.
Juan Cruz Lizarralde, Agrality's CEO, emphasized, "We are committed to becoming a regional seed business supplier for the US domestic market, while delivering tailor-made solutions worldwide to meet the specific needs of each customer. This partnership will solidify our presence and growth in the domestic US market, enhancing our existing capabilities, including a seed processing plant in Mendon, Michigan, as well as two experimental stations in Indiana and North Dakota."
The acquisition of Nebraska Irrigated Seeds is part of Agrality's efforts to pursue its vision: To be the leading company in providing integral solutions for the global agribusiness community.
