Syngenta Vegetable Seeds has announced the appointment of Juan Pablo López as Territory Head Vegetable Seeds for the United States and Canada. In this role, López will lead the vegetable business for the company, delivering short and mid-term business targets while building an effective and sustainable, long-term end-to-end business.

López, who will relocate from Switzerland to California to assume his new role, joined Syngenta in 2007 as key account manager in Ecuador. He has held several marketing and commercial roles in Crop Protection, successfully creating a career with more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector.
For nearly 17 years at Syngenta, he has contributed to the growth of the Americas, including Mexico and other Global agricultural sectors. He holds two masters' degrees from the European School of Business, and two bachelor's degrees from Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
López's most recent position was Global Product Manager, Insect Control for Syngenta, where he was instrumental in driving the global strategy for the TYMIRIUM technology, maximizing the product life cycle of Syngenta pyrethroids, and developing crossover initiatives with Biologicals and Seedcare.
