Azotic registers Encera SC formulation in European Union

Azotic Technologies Ltd (Azotic) announced on Tuesday that Encera™ systemic nitrogen fixing biological received mutual recognition in the European Union for its SC formulation.

″This registration is strategically important for Azotic’s plans to commercialize Encera across the European Union,″ said Ray Chyc, CEO of Azotic, ″We have received thousands of inquiries from growers, retailers and distributors in Europe since we launched in North America in 2019 and we are excited to now be able to service this high demand.″

Applied in a liquid formulation as an in-furrow or foliar application, Encera allows farmers to reduce synthetic nitrogen fertilizer in crops including corn, potatoes, cereals and legumes while maintaining yield or gives them the option to add to their existing fertility programs to boost yields. The SC formulation will come with enhanced packaging and handling capacity. Dry formulations and seed treatment options are the next innovations in the product development pipeline of this patent-protected technology.
