Azotic Technologies Ltd (Azotic) announced on Tuesday that Encera™ systemic nitrogen fixing biological received mutual recognition in the European Union for its SC formulation.
″This registration is strategically important for Azotic’s plans to commercialize Encera across the European Union,″ said Ray Chyc, CEO of Azotic, ″We have received thousands of inquiries from growers, retailers and distributors in Europe since we launched in North America in 2019 and we are excited to now be able to service this high demand.″
″We’ve strengthened our presence in the EU through the commercialization of Encera in key markets across the region,″ remarks Ray Chyc, CEO of Azotic. ″We work with the agricultural community as part of our goal to promote a more sustainable, systemic, nitrogen-fixing biological alternative – Encera SC.″
Applied in a liquid formulation as an in-furrow or foliar application, Encera allows farmers to reduce synthetic nitrogen fertilizer in crops including corn, potatoes, cereals and legumes while maintaining yield or gives them the option to add to their existing fertility programs to boost yields. The SC formulation will come with enhanced packaging and handling capacity. Dry formulations and seed treatment options are the next innovations in the product development pipeline of this patent-protected technology.
″We have been forging ahead with our expansion into the European market,″ explains Murat Dobooglu, Commercial Director of Azotic, EMEA. ″This registration formulation coincides with others we are completing in markets outside of Europe where Azotic is strengthening its brand presence. Globally, Azotic is finalizing registrations in Latin America, South East Asia, Africa and Australia. Evidentiary field results have garnered much interest in Encera, and we encourage agribusinesses to engage with us to learn more.″
Azotic will be at the British Potato Show, Harrogate, UK, November 22 & 23 and the Croptec Show, Warwickshire, UK, November 27 & 28.
