Three new pesticide common names indolauxipyr, icafolin and pyraquinate approved by ISO

Three new pesticide common names have recently been approved by ISO.

Indolauxipyr

This new common name for a picolinic acid herbicide from Corteva Agriscience became approved on 8th June 2023. Its development codes are X-263 and X12312263.

It will be marketed as an ester, indolauxipyr-cyanomethyl, development codes XDE-521 and XR-521.

The name ″indolauxipyr″ will be included in the next annual update of the XML data set that is available to everyone who purchases the second edition of ISO 1750.

This new common name for a novel isoxazole herbicide from Bayer AG Crop Science became approved on 11th July 2023.

It will be marketed as an ester, icafolin-methyl, development code BCS-CZ37679.

The name ″icafolin″ will be included in the next annual update of the XML data set that is available to everyone who purchases the second edition of ISO 1750.

This new common name for a benzoylpyrazole herbicide from Liaoning Cynda Chemical Co. became approved on 11th July 2023. Development code CDH18119, Chinese common name 吡唑喹草酯.
