The Agriculture of the Future Showcase, a project by the Brazilian biotechnology company Vittia, was one of the highlights of the Coopercitrus Expo 2023, which received special coverage by AgroPages.
The project was displayed in the technology area of the event promoter, the Coopercitrus Foundation, and presented visitors with the most modern technology to ensure the crop’s health.
The objective was to promote agriculture with maximum sustainability, presenting Vittia technologies through a demonstration field and via drone applications.
One of the products highlighted in the Showcase was the effect of the Naft Vittia adjuvant in reducing drift, contributing to greater efficiency in the application and arrival of the products to the target.
Another outstanding real presentation was the application of macrobiological insecticides, such as parasitoids and pest insect predators, which were released by drones in a total area of approximately 500m².
"We intend to present a moment of technical immersion so that producers learn more about the benefits of biological products and adjuvants,″ said the Market Development Coordinator at Vittia, Lauany Cavalcante.
At the internal stand of the input pavilion, Vittia presented its Vittia portfolio, focusing on sugarcane, soy, coffee, and citrus crops.
At the site, the company installed a panel displaying fungi and bacteria that control pests and diseases in petri and rhizotron plates so visitors can see and understand how Vittia technology works.
Doctor Hamilton Humberto Ramos, from the Campinas Agronomic Institute (IAC) and Vittia's partner in several research and technological development works, presented a panel with the theme ″Application technology and the use of biological pesticides in the agriculture of the future″.
"We have structured our technical and commercial team to be ever closer to Coopercitrus and meet the demand of the cooperative members," said Vittia's Regional Sales Manager, Rodrigo Chiareli.
″This is the cooperative’s biggest fair of the year, where it expects to achieve a large part of the 2023 result, and we are excited, as our business is evolving, our partnership is in an excellent phase, and we want to further strengthen the Vittia and Coopercitrus brand,″ he said in conclusion.
