Lansheng Biotech launches high-efficient, low-toxic pesticide expansion up to annually 25,005 tons covering clethodim and boscalid

Recently, the environmental impact assessment of the high-efficient and low-toxic pesticide expansion project up to 25,005 tons, undertaken by Chinese agrochemical company Hebei Lansheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd, was publicized on a local government website.

Lansheng Biotech is planning an investment of RMB25 million in a pesticide capacity expansion of up to annually 25,005 tons of high-efficient and low-toxic pesticides to be located in the existing plant within Mayu Industrial Park, Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province.
 
Project construction measures include, a fine tuning of clethodim process, which leads to increased output from annually 4,000 tons to 12,000 tons; a fine tuning of boscalid process, which leads to increased output from annually 500 tons to 2,000 tons; a fine tuning of brassinolide process, which leads to increased output from annually one ton to five tons; new installation of annually 1,000-ton sethoxydim production line and 10,000-ton brassinolide soluble concentrate production line.

Hebei Lansheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd was established in March 2014, located in Jinzhou Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province, specializing in developing high-efficient, low-toxic, green and novel pesticides having made several technical breakthroughs in the innovation of green chemical products.

Lansheng Biotech owns one green chemistry research institute and four production bases, with products covering insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators and pesticide additives. Its major products include clethodim, spirotetramat, brassinolide, metribuzin, Isoxadifen-ethyl and boscalid.

Several products of the company have filled up the gap in the Chinese production, having been granted the EU technical equivalence; several scientific and technological achievements have reached the internationally advanced level or the domestic leading level, being highly recognized by customers at home and abroad.
