An environment of interaction between companies, startups, ICTs, and students involved in the research and production of bioinputs was the big news of Siconbiol 2023 (17th Biological Control Symposium), which had special coverage by AgroPages.
Called ″BioInova Matchmaking Space″, this environment was an initiative of the Bioinput Innovation Network of MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil), through the Secretariat of Innovation, Sustainable Development, Irrigation and Cooperativism (SDI).
The BioInova Matchmaking Space was carried out in a hybrid way, being an opportunity to promote innovations in the sector and connect other companies and professionals in the field of bioinputs in Brazil.
During the interaction, it was possible to participate in two ways: as a ″challenger″, presenting their challenges and needs in bioinputs, or as a ″solver″, offering solutions for the listed challenges.
The initiative is part of the International Technical Cooperation Project for the ″Modernization of Strategic Management of MAPA to improve public policies to promote sustainable development, food security and competitiveness of agribusiness″, supported by IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture).
The event also partnered with ABBI (Brazilian Association of Bioinnovation) and the Entomological Society of Brazil, among others.
