Limin signs strategic cooperation agreement with SF Biochemical to jointly build pesticide technical creation platform

On July 15, China’s leading agrochemical company Limin announced the signing of a 5-year strategic cooperation agreement with SF Biochemical, under which the two sides will jointly build a pesticide technical creation platform using the respective competencies of the two companies.

The cooperation agreement is expected to improve the technology-driven development capability of both enterprises, which will further improve their core competencies and sustainable development capacities.

According to the agreement, the two parties will work together on the following:

Limin will carry out an in-depth collaboration with SF Biochemical in the synthesis of generic pesticide technicals, for the purpose of jointly developing and producing innovative pesticide technicals.

In terms of screening novel green pesticide compounds, Limin will carry out research and development activities in cooperation with SF Biochemical, to make breakthroughs in this field.

The two sides will jointly build a generic pesticide technician creation platform, which will consolidate their resources and enable them to share respective technologies and information, to improve the efficiency of their joint research and innovation.

The two parties may also engage in other forms of cooperation according to actual needs, including but not limited to joint promotion, market expansion, personnel training, brand building and technical exchange.

In the announcement, Limin said that the company has long maintained its core competence in the synthesis of generic pesticide technicals. Due to their strategic needs, the two sides have come together to jointly build a pesticide technical creation platform, which will enable breakthroughs in the screening of novel green pesticide compounds, therefore, allowing the two parties to achieve high-end product development within the industrial chain.
