Biotrop Soluções Bilógicas announced the launch of Stimutrop Premium (Indolacetic Acid) for sugarcane cultivation.
The technology was developed to stimulate growth and promote rooting, promoting greater water, and energy intake.
According to Biotrop, bioinput is a patented technology formulated from the biosynthesis and stabilization of indoleacetic acid (IAA), which affects various physiological functions of the plant.
Among these effects is the initial establishment and improvement of the root system, in addition to being responsible for growth and development.
Its composition also has photoprotection and greater stability on the shelf, and preserves the concentration of the plant hormone.
This innovation guaranteed Biotrop the award for Best Innovation in Formulation by the Crop Science Awards committee, a prestigious international competition in the inputs industry.
Indoleacetic acid is an auxin, a growth hormone that promotes differential cell elongation and functions as a plant growth regulator.
In the formulation of Stimutrop Premium, the hormone is obtained by biological means, eliminating the need for synthetic sources and being technology-friendly to the environment.
The bioinput stimulates tillering and increases the thickness of the stalks, in addition to favoring the conversion of CO2 into plant biomass through carbon sequestration.
″It is a unique product, which will deliver excellent results for the sugar-energy sector″, concludes Éderson Santos, Marketing manager at Biotrop.
The product is already available on the market and can be accessed via Biotrop distributors nationwide.
