The Brazilian company Ourofino Agrociência revealed exclusively to AgroPages the launch of the Inédito herbicide (Glufosinate-Ammonium Salt + Carfentrazone-ethyl).

According to the manufacturer, Inédito is a ″high performance″ herbicide for managing weeds that are difficult to control, and resistant or tolerant to glyphosate in the pre-planting of soybeans, corn, and cotton.

Leonardo Araújo.jpgLeonardo Araújo, Director of Marketing, R&D, and PDI, explained that pre-planting weed control was essential for obtaining high yields in any agricultural production.

He emphasized that the Inédito had the objective of avoiding the competition of invasive plants for nutrients in the moment of more sensitivity of the crop.

The herbicide had mechanisms that inhibit the action of glutamine synthetase (Group H) and PROTOX (Group E).

″The high quality of the formulation and its surfactants promote greater tolerance to rain after application and control speed, resulting in excellent weed management before planting crops,″ Araújo explained.

The novelty is part of the portfolio of ″reimagined products″, which are a group of solutions developed by Ourofino taking into account the main soil and climate characteristics of Brazilian agriculture.

Based on this development work, the solutions have ″differentials that, proven, bring greater benefits to the field″, the company explained.

″Among the differentials identified in Inédito are its rapid absorption, excellent adhesion to the plant, high compatibility with other solutions, photoprotection, and tolerance to rain,″ they pointed out.

According to Araújo, the herbicide results from six years of intense dedication to study and research, evaluations, and applications so that the best could be achieved.

″Everything is looking for the differences of a reimagined product, designed and developed for the conditions of Brazilian agriculture,″ he emphasized.

In all, 14 prototypes were studied in the first generation and five in the second generation.

In partnership with different institutions, dozens of field surveys were conducted in the country’s main agricultural regions, with statistical evidence that proves the high performance of Inédito.

Araújo explained that the Focus 360 management program, which brings together the most important technologies for cereal crops in a single portfolio, receives robustness with Inédito.

For him, producers gain new solutions for integrated management and technical indications for more productivity and profitability.

″The entry of Inédito enriches the program, which now includes more technology for crops in Brazil,″ the Director of Marketing, R&D, and RDI said in conclusion.
