Limin’s pyrimethanil granted EU technical equivalence

A few days ago, the fungicide pyrimethanil of Limin Chemical, a subsidiary of Limin Co., Ltd., was granted the EU technical equivalence. Pyrimidine is the fourth product of Limin Co., Ltd being granted the EU technical equivalence, following mancozeb, phosethyl-al and mesotrione. The grant of the EU technical equivalence to pyrimethanil shows that the quality of Limin’s pyrimethanil technical has reached the world’s advanced level, which paves the way for Limin’s pesticide market development in the EU.

Pyrimethanil is a 2-Pyrimidinamine fungicide, which inhibits secretion of fungal invasive enzyme and kills fungi to prevent fungal infection, being preventive, curative, also systemic and fumigant, thus being regarded as a high-activity conventional fungicide against gray mold. The EU is the world’s largest pyrimethanil market, where the product is used for prevention and control of grape gray mold, pear scab and strawberry gray mold.
