Lier Chemical’s subsidiary plans investment of RMB200 million yuan to build an annual 2,000-ton thiabendazole plant

ChinaOn May 8, Jingzhou Sancaitang Chemical Technology Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Chinese agrochemical company Lier Chemical, made public its annual 2,000-ton thiabendazole project on the local government website.
It is reported that the project will take an investment of RMB200 million yuan, which, after completion, will achieve an annual sale of RMB400 million yuan and contribute an annual profit and tax of RMB40 million yuan, and will create 100 jobs.
Thiabendazole is a high-efficient, broad-spectrum and worldwide commonly used fungicide. It is effective for control of a large variety of plant fungal diseases, as applied to post-harvest fruits and vegetables for control of diseases that occur in storage, being already widely used at home and abroad.
