Agrishow's main objective is to present what is most modern in Brazilian agribusiness, and AgroPages was present at this event, which is one of the largest international agricultural technology fairs.
On the occasion, FMC presented solutions and technologies for every moment of the crops, mainly for sugarcane, cereals, coffee, and citrus.
In the sugarcane culture, the highlight was the insecticide Verimark, recently launched on the market.
The product has a completely different mode of action from the insecticides currently available for pest control, such as the spittlebug (Mahanarva fimbriolata), the sugarcane borer (Diatraea saccharalis), and the Sphenophorus. It preserves the other beneficial and important insects for the sustainable balance of the crop.
Another innovative solution presented for the sugarcane field is the Boral Full herbicide, which has a technology that offers more effective and selective protection, leaving the crop free of weed competition and maintaining its productive potential.
For soybeans, the FMC team presented the insecticide Hero, which controls pests by walking and contact, such as the green bug (Nezara viridula).
Talisman was also highlighted, a complete solution that boosts performance by fighting bedbugs at different stages with immediate control, redoubled action, and high efficiency.
The Premio insecticide gained prominence, with prolonged protection for the crop, being a management tool that preserves the broad spectrum Bt technology for controlling caterpillars.
In the citrus portfolio, Benevia® is a high-performance systemic insecticide with a longer residual, which provides control of both nymphs and adults.
The product stands out for its selectivity and flexibility of use, which makes handling easier for the producer and provides better plant development, resulting in a better expression of the crop's productive potential.
