The North American agrochemistry company, Albaugh, revealed, exclusively to AgroPages, the launch in Brazil of the herbicide, Exemplo LV.
Exemplo is a herbicide with a ″Soluble Concentrate″ (SL) formulation that is selective and post-emergence systemic, belonging to the chemical group, Ariloxyalkanoic Acid.
According to the manufacturer, this newly developed technology belongs to the 2,4-D category, combining the two salts, dimethylamine and diethanolamine, with special adjuvants.
Albaugh said that these characteristics, among others, mean that the new herbicide has lower volatility than other formulated ones on the market.
Albaugh's technical department also pointed out that the herbicide acts effectively on weeds whose control is key to ensuring agricultural productivity in soy and corn.
According to the company, the new Exemplo LV also has reduced odor and transfers better stability to tank mixtures.
The technology embedded in the herbicide highlights the fact that Albaugh ″made it the most advanced on the market in the current 2,4-D segment.″
In both soybeans and maize, Exemplo LV controls the weeds, Ipomoea grandifolia, Amaranthus viridis, and Conyza bonariensis.
Albaugh is present in Brazil with a head office in the city of São Paulo and 13 other sales offices.
The company produces and markets more than 50 agrochemicals suitable for major agricultural crops, such as soy, corn, cotton, citrus, coffee, sugar cane, wheat and beans.
