On 3 April 2023, Nichino Europe Co., Ltd (Nichino) announced the acquisition of Interagro (UK) Limited (Interagro). Nichino purchased the entire share capital of Interagro (UK) Limited. The acquisition is intended to grow Nichino’s and Interagro’s portfolio of products for their customers now and in the future.

Together the two companies intend to research and develop new products to support agriculture globally, working to provide new and improved sustainable solutions to benefit consumers in all markets in which they and their affiliates are present.

Established in 2007, Nichino Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nihon Nohyaku Co., Ltd based in Tokyo, manages the development, registration and distribution of its parent company’s active ingredients for use in plant protection products through its extensive network of partner customers throughout Europe and beyond. Nichino is a highly customer- focused business, dedicated to delivering real value to our customers’ businesses through excellence – in regulatory, developmental, sales, marketing and operations support.
