China Seawin has made new technical breakthroughs in seaweed extraction

Recently AgroPages learned from China's Qingdao Seawin Biotech Group Co., Ltd (Seawin), the company has made new major technical breakthroughs in seaweed extraction. The new patent ″Seaweed Enzymolysis Fermentation Coupling Extraction Technology″ integrates biological fermentation and biological enzymolysis to achieve the perfect combination of biological wall breaking of seaweed and targeted cutting of seaweed tool enzyme, which significantly improves extraction efficiency, meanwhile retains the active ingredients and functional groups in  seaweed to the maximum extent. 

The seaweed extract produced with Seaweed Enzymolysis Fermentation Coupling Technology is nearly neutral (pH 6.0-7.0),with higher content of Alginic Acid and PGR, retaining various amino acids from seaweed.
