The multinational agrochemical company, ADAMA, recently presented the fungicide, Almada, during the Show Rural Coopavel 2023, one of the five biggest fairs in Brazilian agribusiness and which was exclusively covered by AgroPages.
Almada has an exclusive ADAMA formulation and combines three active ingredients: Fluxapyroxad + Mancozeb + Prothioconazole.
The product is targeted at soybean, features T.O.V. technology, has a liquid oil dispersion (OD) formulation, and is ready to use without requiring mixing in a tank.
In the southern region of Brazil, where the use of carboxamide-based fungicides is fundamental for the creation of efficient fungicide programs in soybeans, Almada is recommended for controlling the main diseases affecting the crop, such as Asian rust, anthracnose, powdery mildew, leaf blight and target spot.
The intelligent combination of three active ingredients confers quality and high efficiency to the product, which provides the market with a solution that has a broad spectrum of control against major diseases that have concerned soybean farmers in recent harvests.
″This is yet another launch that meets the demand in the field, in other words, the challenges we hear about from producers, which encourages the company to study and develop solutions that deliver what they need. This is part of our well-known brand promise to ‘Listen, Learn, Deliver’,″ said agronomist Eduardo Martinez (Product Manager of Fungicides at ADAMA).
″We develop our solutions in a customized way, as we understand that the dynamics of diseases occur differently between the regions of Brazil, which is why we can offer increasingly effective and sustainable products. Our goal is to help farmers control diseases more assertively, optimize applications and act in anti-resistance management,″ he added.
The solution also simplifies operations, since it eliminates the mixing process in a tank with mancozeb, preserving the safety of the applicator, he further added.
APRESA
Another solution that will be showcased at the Coopavel Rural Show is Apresa, a pre-emergent herbicide recently launched by the company that has an exclusive combination of active ingredients, providing high efficacy and safety for producers.
″The main focus of the product is soybean, which is increasingly vulnerable to bitter grass and crow's foot grass that harm the development of the crop and must be managed before they even appear. We will have a holographic cylinder at the fair showing all the features of Apresa to visitors,″ said João Ibelli (Product Manager of Herbicides at ADAMA).
3D EXPERIENCE
The ADAMA stand will present the company's portfolio of fungicides aimed at soybeans through a ″3D experience.″ With virtual reality glasses, visitors can see the benefits of ADAMA solutions in a didactic way.
″Our portfolio is the only one that allows for the rotation of eight fundamental assets for soybean crops,″ Martinez said.
