Ferm O Feed and PHC merge into Den Ouden GrowSolutions

Ferm O Feed and Plant Health Cure (PHC) are going to merge. As of 30 January 2023, both business units will continue together under the name Den Ouden GrowSolutions.  

Combining strenghts

Ferm O Feed has been part of our Schijndel family business Den Ouden for almost thirty years now. PHC has been a part of Den Ouden since 2021. Both business units specialize in soil improvement and fertility, and offer solutions to stimulate plant growth (GrowSolutions). Ferm O Feed develops organic fertilizers and biostimulants and distributes them to 75 countries worldwide. PHC is an expert and leader in the field of mycorrhizal technology and soil biology. This organisation supplies vegetable fertilizers, useful soil fungi and bacteria that make soil and plants resilient and allow them to function better.

We connect commerce and the international network Ferm O Feed has built with the valuable knowledge about product and application from PHC. We will become a one-stop-shop with one point of contact for all services, expertise and product (application) regarding soil and plant improvement instead of two points of contact." they point out.
 
Little impact for suppliers and customers

At this moment, the merger has little impact for suppliers and customers. The merger means that the business units Ferm O Feed and PHC will jointly continue under the name Den Ouden GrowSolutions. The former trade names will continue to exist as they are. The product portfolio will also remain the same. Existing trade agreements, contracts, price agreements and other agreements remain valid.

Business location Den Ouden GrowSolutions

The head office will stay in Schijndel. The production location of Den Ouden GrowSolutions is located at the current production location of Ferm O Feed in Helmond, The Netherlands (Gerstdijk 6, 5704 RG, Helmond). The production location of PHC in Oisterwijk, The Netherlands, is now closed and is also located at the production location in Helmond.

The 4th Biopesticides, Biostimulants and Novel Fertilizers International Summit (BioEx 2023) will take place on 9th & 10th March in Hangzhou, China.
