The buprofezin from JPRI gained registration in China

Last month, the buprofezin insecticide from Jiangsu Pesticide Research Institude CO., LTD (JPRI) was successfully registered as an active ingredient (Certificate Number: PD20110664) by the Chinese Institute For The Control Of Agrochemicals Of The Ministry Of Agriculture (ICAMA).

Buprofezin is an insect growth regulator, highly selective against coleoptera and delphacidae pest in rice crop at very low rate. As a rice growing country, 24 applicants have currently gained approvals for the ai by Chinese authority, of which 23 were Chinese companies and 16 of them were from Jiangsu Province.
