Lufenuron registered in China for application to grape vine, adding up to six grape vine insecticides

Registration of thiamethoxam.lufenuron 20% SC (thiamethoxam 15% + lufenuron 5%) filed for by Chinese agrochemical company Qingdao Hansen Biologic Science Co., Ltd, for control of grape vine scale insect, was approved by China’s ICAMA a few days ago.
This is the first-time registration of lufenuron in China for application to grape vine, which is also the sixth pesticide product approved for use on grape vine in China.
Previously, five products were granted registration in China for controlling the grape vine scale insect, mirid, thrip, green plant bug and aphid, including thiamethoxam 25% WDG of Syngenta, sulfoxaflor 22% SC and spinetoram 60g/L of Corteva, celangulin 1% EW and matrine 1.5% SL of Chengdu New Sun.
