The Stockton Group, a global supplier of crop protection products, has announced a repositioning of its brand and a new identity for the company. The move came after a year and a half of work to come up with a look that is easily recognizable to Stockton's worldwide network of clients, value partners and communities in which they operate.
Stockton currently operates in more than 35 countries worldwide and holds over 270 product registrations.
"With the assistance of a global branding company to establish a new look for the Stockton Group, we achieved an image that is both visually and strategically strong. These three initials “STK” were designed to be easier to use and better suited for digital and online use. Our new STK logo features a clean look, strong colors and a simplified typeface which will serves as an instantly recognizable symbol of Stockton”, explained Judy Jamuy, Marketing Communications Director from the Stockton Group.”
"We are excited about the future and what it holds for us. The industry is evolving and we felt the need to refreshen our identity. Our new logo not only gives Stockton a biotech image but also serves as our committment to smart, modern and creative solutions in the crop protection arena.”
At the forefront of Stockton's new offering is Timorex Gold, the new generation of biofungicides. Timorex Gold, a plant extract of Melaleuca alternifolia, provides the banana industry with a unique opportunity of safer and more efficient control of Black sigatoka. Timorex Gold, developed and marketed by the Stockton group, brings an innovative and reliable solution for Black sigatoka and various plant diseases. It can be applied year round without establishing resistance and is non-toxic to the crop, the user and the environment. Furthermore, it has proven preventive and curative properties against Black sigatoka, and continuously demonstrates exceptional performance also under the most intense disease pressure conditions.
Thanks to its zero PHI and the fact that the product enjoys an MRL exemption, Timorex Gold became an important tool for early adopters amongst Latin American fruit and vegetable growers, especially those exporting to the US. Timorex Gold is certified by major organic organizations, though it is being used in both conventional and organic farming.
"Whether through new technologies or branding strategies, it's just another example of Stockton’s continuing advances as a worldwide company and reinforcing our network.”
