Although the war in Ukraine is far from over, Nature Green has been able to resume their operations under relatively stable circumstances, says the company’s head of sales Vincenzo Salento: ″Despite the events in Ukraine, which certainly had some consequences, we’re not sitting back and scaling up its market presence in the EU markets. Nature Green is providing steady supplies to its customers and delivers organic shiitake mushrooms weekly. We are very confident to keep delivering in the coming months thanks to our closeness to Hungarian borders. When looking at demand, the situation has returned to pre-covid levels.″
Salento emphasizes that Nature Green will try to expand their market share in Germany, and feels like Fruit Logistica is the best opportunity to reach new potential clients. ″2023 is expected to be a step forward in our expansion strategy. In fact, the company aims at reaching out to new contacts in the cash and carry retail business, with a special focus on German retailers. To this end, the next Fruit Logistica will be a breakthrough in our plan to further develop the business in Germany and get in touch and meet up with German players as organic products are highly in demand and Germany is the biggest organic market in the EU.″
Salento will be the one representing Nature Green during Fruit Logistica in Berlin next month: ″I will be attending Fruit Logistica for the entire duration of the event and will be glad to provide further information about Nature Green and our organic product range on sale. We will not have a stand this year, but will be walking around the floor and visiting other company’s booths,″ he concluded.
