Rainbow Mexico obtained 40 new pesticides registrations in 2022

In 2022, Rainbow Mexico obtained 40 new pesticides registrations, and ranked first among all the companies in Mexico on the number of new pesticide registrations approved. 

The number was far ahead of the company ranked second, which by estimated had 11 new registrations in 2022. Up to now, Rainbow Mexico has obtained 138 registrations, including 68 Technical Products and 70 Formulation Products. The registered products include herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and plant regulators. Registered crops have widely covered local staple crops, such as corn, sugar cane, wheat, avocado, agave, pepper, potatoes, tomatoes, coffee etc.

Mexico has quite a strict management system for pesticide registration. It has a high threshold, with a large investment and long registration time. Rainbow entered the Mexican market very early and established Rainbow Mexico in 2009. Since then, it has grown rapidly and built an excellent local sales team and a registration team.
