Kangqiao Biotech released its patented brand-new miticidal compound

On January 1, the Resistance Management Laboratory of Chinese agrochemical company Shandong Kangqiao Biotechnology Co., Ltd announced release of the company’s first brand-new patented compound – Benbianmanxianan (苯苄螨酰胺).

Benbianmanxianan is the first miticide developed by Kangqiao, being granted the common name by the Chinese National Pesticide Technical Standardization Committee on December 12, 2021, followed by start of its commercialization process. The ISO common name has been filed for.

Benbianmanxianan has a unique mechanism of action, with good stomach toxicity and contact toxicity. It is fast acting and highly active against eggs, young mites and adults. Its field application can effectively control phytophagous mites such as panonychus citri, cinnabarinus and tetranychus urticae.
