Social organization standard for r-PGA compound fertilizer, r-PGA DAP approved in China, Shineking Biotech acting as lead drafter

ChinaOn December 27, 2022, the China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association released the r-PGA (γ-Polyglutamic Acid) Compound Fertilizer Social Organization Standard (Code No. T/CPFIA 0006-2022) and the r-PGA DAP Social Organization Standard (Code No. T/CPFIA 0007-2022), which will both come into force from January 1, 2023.
The two standards were formulated jointly by China’s leading fertilizer manufacturers, led by Nanjing Shineking Biotech Co., Ltd. The social organization standards set the minimum amount of r-PGA (140mg/kg) that can be added into compound fertilizers and DAP, therefore, governing their product development, as well as promoting the sound development of the synergistic compound fertilizer and DAP industry sectors.
