Launched in 2015, the new generation of aircraft has been accumulating an increase in orders each year. In 2020, 28 units were sold.

One of the critical factors that boosted agricultural aviation this year was the record grain production in the 2021-2022 harvest, which produced 271.2 million tons, an increase of almost 14.5 million tons compared to the previous cycle, according to data from the National Supply Company (Conab).

With the robust sales activity this year, the company solidifies its leadership position in the market, which finds in the Ipanema 203 the efficiency, productivity, economy, and robustness that transforms it into an essential tool for the country's agribusiness.

Throughout 2023, the aircraft will also bring new improvements in aspects such as ergonomics, maintenance, and durability, in response to customer suggestions.

Sany Onofre, Agricultural Aviation Manager at Embraer, pointed out that the record sales of the Ipanema 203 also accompany greater engagement in the entire segment, with more intense interactions between professionals working in maintenance workshops, training schools, service providers, and customers.

″There is a continuous exchange of good practices throughout the national territory,″ said Onofre. He also emphasized other fronts of action to strengthen the sector in Brazil.

″Collaborating so that everyone has up-to-date maintenance, increasing the number of homologated workshops, and preparing new pilots are some of the essential actions for the development of the industry as a whole,″ he added.

Among the actions taken, the Embraer customer support team has held lectures on flight safety and continuous improvements to maintenance processes.

In addition, partnerships were signed with the companies Sabri and Agroefetiva, which from 2023 will offer free consultations to buyers in Ipanema so that the aircraft operate with the ideal configuration to achieve maximum performance, according to the needs of each client.

A global aerospace company headquartered in Brazil, Embraer has businesses in Commercial and Executive Aviation, Defense and Security, and Agricultural Aviation.

The company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets aircraft and systems, providing after-sales service and customer support. Since it was founded in 1969, Embraer has delivered more than 8,000 aircraft.
