Hebei Di An Nong company to launch pesticide project covering chlorantraniliprole, thiamethoxam, clothianidin

The environmental impact assessment of the pesticide project launched by Hebei Di An Nong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was recently publicized on a government website for public feedback.

The pesticide project is located in the eastern area of the Cangzhou Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone in China, being regarded as novel chemical project. The project encompasses low-toxic product manufacturing based on mature processes and mild reactions, producing efficient, broad-spectrum, low-residue and low-toxic products, which are promoted by industrial policies and are not included in the government’s list of prohibited or restricted high-toxic products. All production lines are designed as stand-alone without cross running.

The products covered by the project include annual 2,000-ton thiamethoxam, 1,000-ton clothianidin, 5,000-ton acetamiprid, 1,500-ton pyridaben, 1,500-ton biphenylmethyanol, 3,000-ton bifenthrin, 1,000-ton boscalid, 1,000-ton difenoconazole, 1,000-ton chlorantraniliprole, 5,000-ton 2-Chloro-5-(chloromethyl) pyridine, 2,600-ton 2-Chloro-5-chloromethyl thiazole, 800-ton K acid and 600-ton 2-Amino-5-chloro-3-methylbenzoicacid projects.
