Gowan Canada and ISK Biosciences announce INSIGHT® 339SC for the wheat, corn, soybean, and chem-fallow markets

Gowan Canada Inc., in collaboration with ISK BioSciences, announced the launch of INSIGHT^® 339SC, a new and powerful tool for pre-seed burnoff applications in wheat, corn, and soybean in Canada. On August 30, 2022, the companies received registration from the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for INSIGHT 339SC, which will be available to farmers for the 2023 spring season.

INSIGHT 339SC is a group 14 herbicide powered by Tergeo^® which is a new molecule discovered by Korean agrochemical company FarmHannong and has been jointly developed by Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd and FarmHannong globally. INSIGHT 339SC provides rapid and effective pre-seed burn down of important broadleaf weeds like kochia, redroot pigweed, common lamb's quarters, and wild buckwheat. As a tank-mix partner with glyphosate, INSIGHT 339SC provides a valuable alternative mode of action important to western Canada.
