Gharda Chemicals to set up pesticides manufacturing unit in Maharashtra, India

IndiaGharda Chemicals intends to set up a pesticides and organic chemicals manufacturing unit with a capacity of 4,36,070 tpa in Pune district of Maharashtra, India.
The project was earlier planned with a 2,50,220 tpa capacity. In the second quarter of FY23, the company submitted application to MoEF&CC to grant amendment in environment clearance of the project.
As per the latest information shared with Projects Today, Gharda Chemicals is awaiting for environment clearance for the project.
The company intends to finalise the contractor and suppliers.
