Yifan Group’s clethodim 50% TK granted first registration in China for export only

Jiangsu Yunfan Chemical, a subsidiary of China’s Yifan Group, was granted the first registration of clethodim 50% TK (for export only), in October 2022, according to China’s ICAMA of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. 

The registration certificate number EX20220172 is valid until October 8, 2027, for export to the US destination market.

The clethodim technical material is unstable and could quickly degrade because of the product’s chemical properties. Due to this, manufacturers often make the technical material into a technical concentrate, to benefit long-distance transportation and storage. Backed up by its long years of experience in clethodim product development, Yifan Biotechnology Group Co., Ltd has independently developed a clethodim 50% TK, which now becomes the first registration of its kind in China. 

Compared to the existing clethodim technical concentrate 37% TK and clethodim 70% TK, the 50% TK has the advantages of easy formulation, convenient transportation and storage under room temperature. At the same time, the clethodim 50% TK has a cost advantage due to its high content. Meanwhile, the product does not require refrigeration. 

It is reported that Yifan Group has completed the registration process of clethodim 50% TK in the United States, with EPA registration number 95055-2. The grant of the registration will help overseas customers to effectively solve the problems existing with transportation, storage and process of formulation.
