Kyron.pngBrazilian agrochemical company CropChem introduced Kyron 750 WG, a herbicide with the active ingredient Nicosulfuron, positioned as an alternative to increase weed resistance to Glyphosate, Glufosinate, 2,4-D, and Clethodim.

Kyron 750 WG, recommended for pre-planting desiccation, is described as ″essential″ for ″strategic management″ by Rodrigo Leão, director of CropChem.

According to him, weed competition is a problem gaining strength, especially in scenarios of resistant weeds that arise when the farmer takes time to control the invasion.

Leão pointed out that in the case of soybeans, rural producers must pay attention to the rotation of herbicides when managing invasive plants.

As the market often offers traditional solutions for desiccation, such as Glyphosate, Glufosinate, 2,4-D, and Clethodim, weeds can develop resistance to these active ingredients.

″In this sense, CropChem develops Kyron 750 WG, a herbicide with the active Nicosulfuron that can be positioned for the moment of desiccation, as the perfect solution to combat invaders difficult to control and with resistance to the already traditional actives,″ explained the director of the Brazilian company.

According to the executive, only CropChem provides Nicosulfuron for use in pre-planting desiccation.

″This is the result of investment in research and development, which is the basis of our company,″ he said.

With a water-dispersible granule formulation, Kyron 750 WG can also be mixed with Glyphosate in places where there is no resistance for an even more efficient solution.

According to Rodrigo, ″when combined with Glyphosate, Kyron 750 WG becomes a powerful ally in managing threats to soybean plantations.″

With just one application, the farmer can prevent weeds such as ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum), bitter grass (Digitaria insularis), and donkey grass (Andropogon bicornis).

CropChem is a 100% Brazilian company with distribution centers in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, and Mato Grosso serving the entire Brazilian agricultural territory.

″We are committed to developing and marketing quality herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides at a competitive price, strategically designed for the diversity of climate and soil that each Brazilian region offers,″ Rodrigo Leão said in conclusion.
