He has an expertise in leadership and strategic planning of various regional and global growth projects and this will help develop a strategic vision and go to market strategy for Willowood in Brazil along with building a team to service its clients with crop specific portfolios.″ During interactions about Innovation and Sustainability at Willowood Mr. Mundhra has also added that Marcos has already demonstrated an impressive leadership style, entrepreneurial mindset, and a strong commitment to strengthening organizational culture and he is coming with a revelation which will lead to innovation in process optimization, achieving significant results to strengthen sustainability in Agribusiness.

About Marcos Gaio


Prior to his new role as CEO Willowood, he was with Ihara Brazil as Chief Operation Officer. He has started his career with DuPont do Brasil S.A as a Sales and Marketing Representative. During his 30 years stint, he served in multiple roles including Strategic Accounts Marketing and Planning Director at DuPont, Nufarm as President – CEO of LATAM and with Gowan Crop Protection Limited as South and Central America Regional Manager. Marcos is also recognized with Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and an NGO Board Member and Counselor with Enactus, Nuffield and Jardineiros da Luz. Marcos grew up in Brazil and holds a Master's Degree in Management from Ohio University.
