The highlights were the herbicides, Araddo (Clethodim + Fluroxypyr-meptyl) and Cheval (Glufosinate-ammonium + S-Metolachlor).

ADAMA 3.jpegAraddo is ADAMA’s herbicide indicated for use during the pre-planting desiccation of soybeans to controls grasses and broad leaves, and does not require an interval between application and the sowing of crops.

Cheval can be flexibly used for both in the pre-planting desiccation of soybeans and during the initial post-emergence of cotton crops. With the advancement of glyphosate-resistant weeds, Cheval combines post-emergence and residual action.

″We have a complete portfolio of solutions for the management of weeds in soybeans, including for different stages and scenarios of occurrence of weeds in crops,″ said João Ibelli, manager of Portfolio – Herbicides at ADAMA, who was at the stand.

According to Ibelli, the company utilized the opportunity presented by the event ″to deliver our solutions, but also to listen to researchers and the scientific community about new technologies and trends, in addition to the public present.″

At the Congress held in the city of Rio Verde in the Brazilian state of Goiás, ADAMA also presented its main launch of the year, the herbicide, Apresa (Flumioxazin + S-metolachlor), a premium pre-emergent multi-crop herbicide with a unique combination of two active ingredients.

The release is intended for the soybean crops increasingly vulnerable to Digitaria insularis and Eleusine indica.

″With a modern formulation and long residual effect, Apresa has a broad spectrum action, controlling broad leaves and grasses, in addition to reducing the seed bank and helping to manage resistance,″ ADAMA said.
