Best Agrolife Ltd Appoints Chemistry Expert Pramod Narayan Karlekar As Managing Director Of Its Subsidiary Best Crop Science India Pvt Ltd

India’s leading Agrochemical company Best Agrolife Ltd on Monday (25 July 2022) announced that Mr Pramod Narayan Karlekar has been appointed as the Managing Director of their subsidiary company Best Crop Science Pvt Ltd  (BCSPL).  Mr Karlekar is a renowned chemistry and R&D expert with more than 35 years of strong experience in the agrochemical industry. He has an impressive track of handling strategic leadership roles and business operations of many companies.

A Chemical Engineer and a Management Graduate from Mumbai University Mr Karlekar has a diverse and rich professional background. He has been associated at the apex level with many reputed organizations. He started his carrier as the Principal Engineer at Davy Powergas India Pvt Ltd in the year (….)  He has been the Technical President of Rallis India and President of the Agrochemical division of Atul Ltd. Mr Karlekar was appointed as the Managing Director of Cheminova India Ltd in 2008. As its Global President (Asia, entire Africa, India, and the Middle East) he worked on acquisitions, strategy, and global business development of the company. He has also served Apt Crop Sciences Private Ltd, Crop Care Federation Of India, SFC India Private Ltd, and SFC Global Private Ltd as their Director. Before joining  BCSPL Mr Karlekar was the Managing Director of Sudarshan Farm Chemicals India Private Ltd where he successfully led the business to new growth opportunities. 

It is important to note that BCSPL recently received an A- long-term rating from India’s top credit rating agency CARE Ratings.
