Croda wins sustainability award at Syngenta Suppliers Awards

Croda International Plc, the company that uses smart science to create high performance ingredients and solutions that improve lives, has been announced the winner of the ‘reduction in carbon’ category at the Syngenta Suppliers Awards today, 1st June 2022.  At the ceremony, held in Frankfurt, Germany, the company was presented with the ‘Sustainability Award – Carbon Reduction’.

Since 2018, Croda has been working with partners to undertake initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of its operations and upstream supply chain including decarbonisation roadmaps, increased use of life cycle analysis, redesign of products and processes, and responsible sourcing of ingredients.

Croda has worked in partnership with Syngenta to deliver innovative and sustainable ingredients in a way that meets Syngenta’s commercial and sustainability goals.  The company has created ingredients that help Syngenta to meet their own sustainability goals, by providing greater transparency on the origin, composition and environmental impact of ingredients, together with sustainable benefits in use.
