Lier Chemical planning pesticide project covering annual 5,000-ton chlorantraniliprole, 40,000-ton L-glufosinate and 2,000-ton pinoxaden capacities

ChinaLier Chemical announced the environmental impact assessment for the pesticide production and circular industry demonstration project in Guang’an for the first time in April 2022.
The project is located within Xinqiao Industrial Park, Guang’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Guang’an City, Sichuan Province, covering annually 78,000 tons of pesticide technical, at an investment of Yuan5 billion.
The project is designed for a new build of annually 40,000 tons of L-glufosinate, 2,000 tons of thiabendazole, 5,000 tons of chlorantraniliprole, 1,000 tons of cyantraniliprole, 2,000 tons of pinoxaden, 10,000 tons of trichlopyr, 2,000 tons of flumioxazin, 5,000 tons of fluroxypyr-meptyl, 1,000 tons of clodinafop-propargyl, 3,000 tons of clopyralid, 5,000 tons of picloram and 2,000 tons of aminopyralid, totaling to 78,000 tons of pesticide technical. Meanwhile, the by-product salt will be reutilized via the proper treatment process. The project also includes supportive facilities and pollution control measures.
