On April 19, after a one-year period of construction, the fosetyl-al technical upgrading of Limin Chemical, a wholly owned subsidiary of Limin Group, was put into trial run following a successful expert assessment. Its official production run is expected to take place in June 2022, which will stand for a new beginning of Limin Chemical’s fungicide production. The launch of the new capacity is expected to have a positive effect on the long-term growth of Limin Group.

The fosetyl-al technical upgrading is an important project of Limin Chemical, covering an area of 80 mu (1 mu = 1/5 hectare) of land at a spending of roughly RMB230 million. The production process is fully automatic, being designed with the circular economy and clean production concept, where wastewater is completely reclaimed for reuse in the workshop after advanced treatment. All economic and technical indicators have reached internationally advanced level, thus contributing to the green development on a sustainable basis.

Fosetyl-al is an efficient and broad-spectrum systemic plant fungicide. In addition to its satisfactory fungicidal effect, fosetyl-al can induce the disease-resistant function enhancement of plants. In recent years, the market demand has been growing with great potentials. Limin Chemical has participated in drafting of a fosetyl-al international standard, which is identified as conformable to the standards of FAO/WHO. Upon full completion of the technical upgrading project, it will form an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons of fosetyl-al, which will contribute to the further business growth of Limin Group.
