Recently, a product launch ceremony was held in Sanya, Hainan Province in China, with representatives of Bayer CropScience China, distributors, retailers and growers all over Hainan Province participating.

They have witnessed the launch of Bayer’s excellent novel fungicide together and have shared their views on the product features and the core technology of Bayer’s Caimei.

Fluopyram is a fungicide with a brand-new action mode, which takes up half of the horticultural market. Up to date, Bayer’s fluopyram series, launched in the Chinese market include four major brands.

Bayer’s Caimei is produced in Bayer’s Hangzhou plant, and is based on the technical material and the distinctive adjuvant imported from Germany. It is repackaged in Sino-Agri Leading Biosciences Co., Ltd under a high-quality control process, which results in the product’s higher quality over the Chinese national standard.

At the same time, Caimei has a wider range of applications covering local specialty cash crops such as waxberry and loquat. Its mixed-use with the classical product Fuliku enables a broader control of diseases and longer period of applications, whilst the quality and efficacy are further improved, which enhances the effect of Bayer’s fluopyram series.

Bayer’s Caimei mixture with Fuliku, the Golden Caimei, extends the fungicidal spectrum for fruits and vegetables, with tripled functions – protective, curative and eradicative. It provides farmers with a more flexible timing of application and a wider coverage of crops, which can simultaneously prevent and control various diseases.

The active ingredients of the Golden Caimei is tebuconazole 43%, fluopyram 21.5% and trifloxystrobin21.5%, being mixed at the precise ratio of 2: 1: 1, which allow for an excellent curative effect, long-lasting leaf and fruit surface protection as well as an all-round plant stress resistance. This will better meet user’s needs of quick action, controlled spots of spray, less amount of spray, longer duration and plant’s adaptation to different growing environments.

Field trials have proved that compared with the water-controlled tomato leaf mold, the tomato leaf mold treated by Bayer’s Caimei is put under effective control, where the front leaf ‘degreening’ spots have not increased, and the ‘degreening’ spots have no signs of increase while the gray-white mold fades out and dries out.
