The bio-input company Agrivalle and the finance company Ecoagro announce a partnership to make resources available for the acquisition of bio-inputs through the creation of a CRA (Agribusiness Receivables Bill).
The credit will finance the purchase of products through Goplan Agronegócio, including solutions in chemical and biological products, and licensing and seed multiplication.
CRAs are fixed-income securities backed by receivables arising from the business between rural producers or their cooperatives and third parties. They cover financing or loans related to the production, marketing, processing, or industrialization of products, agricultural inputs, or machinery and implements used in agricultural production.
In these operations, companies transfer their receivables to a securitization company, which will issue the CRAs and make them available for trading on the capital market, usually with the help of a financial institution. Finally, this securitization company will pay the company for the assigned receivables. In this way, the company will anticipate the receipt of its receivables.
Carlos Renato Brega, CEO of Goplan
Goplan currently has 19 franchises and 78 stores, 800 employees, and approximately 20 million hectares served. “This partnership meets Goplan's strategic aspirations concerning the growth of the bio-inputs line and sustainable practices,” said Carlos Renato Brega, CEO of Goplan.
The executive also emphasized that this partnership goes beyond providing credit. “Agrivalle is a company recognized in the market for the quality of its products and services provided by its sales team, especially in its line of biological products,” he emphasized.

With more than 18 years in the market, Agrivalle recently announced one of the most technological and automated bio-input factories globally. In its recently opened technological center, the company has a team of researchers and more than 700 strains of its own.
Milton Menten, Executive Partner at Ecoagro
Milton Menten, Executive Partner at Ecoagro and responsible for structuring the entire operation, commented on how satisfied they are with this CRA. “It was a privilege for Ecoagro to be able to structure Goplan's first CRA operation, in partnership with Agrivalle, reinforcing our commitment to democratizing access to credit and taking the concept of sustainable agriculture to the countryside,” he said in conclusion.
