Hebei Xingbai’s annual 1,500-ton spinosad project kicked off

Hebei Xingbai Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd held a ground breaking ceremony to kick-off its phase I project covering an annual 1,500-ton spinosad production capacity, in the east portion of Zhao County Economic Development Zone, Hebei Province, China, on February 19, 2022. 

The total investment on the project is RMB 483 million, including phase I with a planned investment of RMB 283 million, which is expected to achieve an annual sale of RMB 1.2 billion after completion.

“The project construction period is ten months and the production process will be installed based on a leading biological fermentation technology in China, which is a green, environment-friendly and efficient process for manufacture of novel biopesticide,” said Liu Jinfeng, general manager of Hebei Xingbai Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. 

According to Liu Jinfeng, the company has committed capital, manpower and material resources to research and develop the novel product, having established the industrial production process under laboratory conditions. This will pave the way for the smooth production and product launch later.
