Show Rural Coopavel 2022: New sprayer generates savings in agrochemicals

The Brazilian Incomagri Máquinas Agrícolas launched a new self-propelled sprayer at the Show Rural Coopavel 2022.

According to the company, the product promises to ensure that agrochemicals are applied to the desired target evenly and in the correct amount, generating savings in inputs and greater productivity.

“One of the most important moments in any crop management is the spraying stage. However, in addition to avoiding and controlling threats from pests, diseases, and weeds and performing foliar nutrition, a good sprayer also helps” to ensure precision in applications, Incomagri said.

Called Overlander, the launch was presented during the Show Rural Coopavel 2022, which AgroPages is covering directly in the city of Cascavel, in the Brazilian state of Paraná, until March 11.

The self-propelled sprayer has advanced technology and a 4x4 hydrostatic transmission system, consisting of a set of wheel motors and Heavy Duty reducers that provide high torque. Mounted on a light and resistant structure, the launch has the perfect balance in the power x weight ratio, which guarantees the producer high performance and excellent fuel economy.

“The producer is increasingly looking for machines that deliver a good application, with greater autonomy, operational performance, comfort, reduce losses due to kneading and increase control over the activities carried out, so the demand is growing and we see great opportunities in this market,” highlighted the agronomist and commercial manager of Incomagri, Carlos Reinaldo Nogueira Filho.

According to the professional, the Overlander was designed with a focus on customers looking for equipment that is simple to operate, easy to maintain, but at the same time with high embedded technology for safe and efficient applications. “This was the most challenging and most complex project we have developed so far. It has demanded extreme dedication from the entire team over the last few years,” he stated.

The Overlander can be used in different annual crops such as soybeans, corn, beans, wheat, potatoes, sugar cane, among other cereals and non-tree crops. It is ideal for producers with extensions of areas above 250 hectares or service providers, preferably open areas of mechanized land that are flat or undulating.

The machine communication interface allows monitoring of spraying functions via the GPS computer screen, and monitoring and interacting via a touchscreen display. The Overlander is also equipped with a five-stage centrifugal pump with a flow rate of 560 liters/minute that works at 100% rotation regardless of the diesel engine speed variation.
