The Agrotech Index, which measures the level of automation on Brazilian farms, increased by 12.5% between 2019 and 2021, according to the Brazilian Association of Automation GS1.
The Agrotech Index shows the level of automation adopted by Brazilian farmers and ranchers increased from 0.16% in 2019 to 0.18% in 2021, an increase of 12.5%. When zoomed in on agriculture alone, the index grew from 0.19 to 0.21 over the same period. In livestock the level of automation increased from 0.16 to 0.17%.
