JiuYi Agriculture’s tembotrione technical and two formulations approved registration by China’s ICAMA

On Dec. 30, 2021, full ICAMAs of tembotrione technical and two formulations from Anhui JiuYi Agriculture Co., Ltd were approved in China as the products first full ICAMA holder. On Jan. 27, 2022, the production license of tembotrione was also approved. Now JIUYI AGRICULTURE is producing the technical and will launch the tembotrione finished products under its own brand name as “BADOU” in China in 2022. Will offer Chinese farmers with a new resistant weeds solutions on maize in 2022. At the same time, JIUYI AGRICULTURE plans to expand the capacity of Tembotrione tech to 2000mt in 2022.

The “BADOU” developed by JiuYi Agriculture has been experimented and demonstrated in a number of locations, where the experiment results reveal a better control effect than the contrast group. The product has an excellent effect of control of annual weeds such as crab grass, speedwell, eleusine indica, echinochloa hispidula, nutgrass, goosefoots, amaranthus retroflexus, purslane, dayflower, fallopia convolvuluswild cotton and xanthium. It is also effective on prevention and control of older eleusine indica and the resistant crab grass.  

On October 14, 2021, tembotrione technical of Anhui JiuYi Agriculture Co., Ltd was granted technical equivalence in the EU. As the EU is world’s strictest region of pesticide administration, the grant of technical equivalence to tembotrione technical in the EU shows that quality of tembotrione technical from JiuYi Agriculture is on a par with that of multinationals.

Anhui JiuYi Agriculture Co., Ltd is one of the earliest companies in China to be granted registration of prothioconazole technical and formulation and plans to build another workshop dedicated for prothioconazole tech production with capacity 5000mt. This new workshop will realize the output in 2023.
